A daughter, sister, wife, mother, A Social Entrepreneur and a Super Game Changer.

Growing up in the dusty streets of Welkom in the Free State, at a young age I had a dream and a purpose. My resilience, tenacity and hard work has shaped my way, but this all would not have been possible without my loving, warm and supportive family.
Late Ntate; Pule Nyokong and Mme; Sebina Nyokong, allowed us all access to this wonderful GAME CHANGER, shaping the idea of what is achievable for an underprivileged young woman in Africa.

At 16 I had to relocate and attend school in a foreign province in the big city of Gauteng.  My parents would send me the little money they could afford for my accommodation and food however it was never enough as I would go hungry for days.  I knew and understood the situation at home where my mother was the sole breadwinner and I understood what she sent was the little she could afford.  It was my greatest struggle, while my peers were enjoying the comfort of home and enjoying their teenage years, I was worried for my safety, next meal, and survival.   I had to grow up mentally, I had to learn to make tough decisions, I had to learn to toughen up and understand life owes me nothing.

Adelina Nyokong's Career
